Our Food Sources

Trying to stay informed...reading the paper. But all it does (absorbing this news) is give me a queasy feeling in my solar plexus.
What really got to me today was the piece entitled "Regulated to Death." Meaning the death of family farms, but also our death, because if we have no local produce, Monsanto will move in and poison our food supply.
People are becoming more conscious of what they eat and where they get their food. This is a good thing because GMOs are certainly not. Well, the FDA and bedfellow Monsanto have to fight back somehow. The FDA is bringing in restrictions that will devastate family farms. They just won't be able to survive and pay the price for such things as water testing requirements and the mountains of paperwork that will go with these measures. Where would we be without family farms and farmers markets?
If you feel as strongly as I do, please do some research and write to your congressmen.
